The 8 km long lake is surrounded by beautiful mountainsides and offers a peaceful and scenic environment – perfect for a day filled with relaxation, fishing, and wonderful moments by the water.
Hällungen is home to many different species of fish, including char, perch, salmon trout, tench, bream, pike, and eel. Some species are easier to catch than others, but regardless of your skill level, you are sure to have a fun fishing adventure here.
Around the lake there are several small, charming beaches where you can moor your boat, take a refreshing dip or just enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

With us, you can rent a boat and set out on the beautiful and unique Lake Hällungen. Whether you want to take it easy with a classic rowboat, glide silently along with an electric motor, or feel a little extra power with a gasoline-powered motor – the choice is yours!
Price: SEK 750 per day
The price is the same regardless of boat type, so choose the one that best suits your excursion.

Fishing rules
A fishing license is required to fish, which can be purchased here at the Bed & Breakfast. A day pass costs SEK 100 and an annual pass costs SEK 200.
Fishing methods
You can fish from the shore or from a boat, but fishing is best from a boat. Why not rent one of our SUP boards, lie on your stomach and fish while enjoying the beautiful scenery. You can fish all year round, and when the lake freezes over, it's a fantastic way to catch nice perch.
